TOWNHOUSE EXTENSION

Our clients owned a lovely, but compact terraced townhouse on Howard Place, Edinburgh.

The property was category B listed; their family was growing up fast and they required a lot more space.  The kitchen was too small, there was no dining room and additional family space was also required.

We designed a small, contemporary extension to the rear to house a family snug and by combining two rooms at the rear of the house at lower ground floor level formed a new kitchen / dining room.

Built in polished ashlar with a lead roof and large structural glass roof light, this simple yet elegant extension gave the family all the space they needed.
